K9 was seriously running out of power very fast on the small 4.5Amp batteries so they have now been increased in size to three 15 Amp batteries. It does add much more weight and I can now just about pick K9 up, but the extra weight does not slow him down at all. The larger batteries did mean a redesign of the lower drive tray but it now looks and drives much better with the better weight distribution. I have also removed some extra bits from the bases giving the drive wheels a bit more spring acting a bit like crude suspension.
