Take two £60 electric scooters of Ebay, add an angle grinder and a few hours work and before you know it you have a Droid/K9 drive system. The old caster will have a nice new in-line skate wheels added to make everything glide along nicely. For this build I have not even had to have build custom motor brackets, instead simply cut up the scooter frames and just bolt them in, simplicity itself.
